STEM & STEAM Education

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEAM (which incorporates Arts) education programs are designed to equip students with essential skills for the modern world.

Glad Tidings Community Development has partnered with leaders in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEAM (which incorporates Arts) space including IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) to develop and provide programming for our community and congregation, specifically the underserved populations that we serve.

These programs emphasize critical thinking and problem-solving through hands-on, project-based learning experiences. By engaging in collaborative activities, students not only learn the fundamentals of science and technology but also develop teamwork skills that are vital in any career.

Incorporating the Arts into the framework of STEAM helps foster creativity and innovation. This fusion encourages students to think outside the box, allowing them to approach challenges from various perspectives. This holistic approach helps students prepare for a diverse range of careers, from engineering to artistic fields, ensuring they can adapt to an ever-changing job market.

Both STEM and STEAM programs aim to inspire students to pursue careers in these crucial sectors, ultimately shaping the leaders of tomorrow. By providing robust training and educational opportunities, these initiatives help cultivate the next generation of innovators and thinkers.
